Houston -7' +110 (vs Jax)That rookie QB was spectacular in his surprise Jacksonville debut off the bench. A week of Houston gameplanning for a Divisional game should emphasize "was".

do you think people will get their reparation checks before the planet dies?

I see Mariota running for his life. Like the Colts to run the ball, dink and dunk... and win. Titans in letdown mode after slaying Baker.

Miami +18 -105 (vs NEn)Since 1993 (as far back as the database went) there were only three teams who were Week 2 Double Digit Road Favorites. They were all exactly 10 point favorites, just barely making it to the Double Digit requirement. They went 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS. Now we have the Pats going into Dolphinland as Week 2 favorites of -18. Crazily unprecedented. Is this the best team of all time by over a TD playing the worst team of all time by over a TD? Maybe. But when we add into the mix that the Pats are 1-5 SU their last 6 visits to Miami. When you consider that the Pats won three Super Bowls in those same 6 seasons; lost one; and made it to the Championship game in the other two, you've gotta think this line is bonkers. Add in a nice dose of 90 degree heat which we haven't seen up here in about a month. I hate this pick.

You may be right, OMAR, but those two Indy whoopings last year give me pause. If I'm right I think the letdown comes next week. Good luck, bud.

WOW!!! WOW!!!! That's not the hammer I expected. I'd love for Miami to keep it respectable but don't think it's in the cards. Either way. enjoy the win, Jim!

GL today, sir. I don't think the Titans' players are looking to avenge their blaine gabbert losses from last year. Maybe Mariota does NOT get knocked out this year.

While I'm at it, your Balty pick stinks too. 13 points? The Ravens might need a full quarter of football in order to recalibrate their bodies. Playing a team that's actually giving some effort will be new to them. Playing the Dolphins last week was no advantage going forward. Makes ya soft. Zona first half?

Sorry, Brian. I know what you wanted. I wanted that too. But the research paints like a Disney cartoon not Michelangelo.

Forgot to put this in my post re Baltimore. Why I made them my POW. Week 2 Double Digit Home Favs off a win are 9-1 SU and ATS since 1998.

Add:NYG +1 -101 (vs Buff)Downstate vs Upstate. What Buffalo does really, really well is stop the Pass. Don't think the Giants key guy, Shaquon Barkley, is a receiver.

I do those numbers myself, OMAR. By hand copying all games that fit DD parameters from Game logs at the Goldsheet. Maybe I'm going bad. 10-5 ATS is still pretty damned impressive. Good luck, bud.
