TUESDAY RESULTS 2 - 3 - 2 (-2)
MONDAY RESULTS 4 - 6 (-191)
SUNDAY RESULTS 3 - 6 (-244)
First of all let me apologize for a late recap which ends up being a three day recap. Don't think I've ever been that far behind before in my twelve years of doing this but perhaps.
Im slowing down in my old age and work is kicking my ass. This week I have (2) corporate clowns breathing over my back and introducing new technology to the format of the company.
Im old school give me a pad of paper, pencil and a notebook and Im good. for those that don't know what I do , Im a service manager at and RV dealership( and its not camping world) and this is a rough business.
The facility I work at sells 120 -150 units per month and I take in 400-500 service appointments per month. Thirty Four (34) service bays ,55 service employees under my watch
and a whole bunch of high maintenance salesman and pain in the ass customers. If your every thinking of buying and RV or trailer make sure you talk to me first so I can tell you
what not to buy. The worst product on the market right now is FLEETWOOD and make sure if you know anybody thinking of purchasing to stay away from this junk. For those that haven't heard me say it
RV stands for Ruined Vacation. Anyways its hard when these people are here for me to get on the computer and do my thing and when I get home I got nothing left.
So that's my excuse back to baseball . when I put the numbers up after three days its pretty obvious we are on a three day losing streak but not brutal by any means just some nickel and dimes
so something we can make up in a hurry. Irony last night as the White Sox Jimenez homers to win the game and shove it up the teams ass (Cubs) who traded him. Didn't get to watch the game
but watching both these teams play has to be fun as there is so much young talent on both these ballclubs. Ive been talking about it for a while now all the home runs being hit this
year and its starting to get noticed as I was reading one article after another Sunday night and saved a few about how the record was set last year and they are clearly on a pace to just crush it this season.
Wanted to talk about the Colorado/Padres series that ended Sunday with the ridiculous amount of runs and home runs hit.
The league is on pace to hit 6,591 home runs this season . The record was set in 2017 6,105 . So they would crush the record by a staggering 8%.
The Yanks last year set the all time team record hitting 267 home runs. In 2019 right now three teams are on pace to break that record. The Twins are on pace to hit 317 !!! Seattle is on pace
to hit 291 and the Brew Crew 284. Last year 17 teams hit at least 200 home runs for the season and that was a record. This year 23 teams are on pace to hit at least 200.
So ball juiced ? or Lousy pitching ? Im going with lousy pitching as its the worse Ive seen since I started watching this game when I was 5. Bring back Gibson and Koufax.
Have a great Wednesday , good luck and will see you tomorrow morning .
