well if you listen last night and all day long
listening to them tell you about the LSU game
ending play that was seen and called incorrectly
by the game officials.
it was not goal tending, it was offensive basket interference
goal tending is a violation on the defense
basket interference is a violation on the offense
when any part of the ball is in the cylinder with the
rim as its base it may not be touched
I even heard 1 announcer say there was not enough of
the ball in the cylinder for it to be goal tending
(wrong on 2 counts)
biggest culprit is on ESPN and he's a game analyst
that would be Jay Bilas except for him trying to
interpret rules that he usually is dead wrong on
he is a good game reporter
NFL now does it right they have former officials
in the booth to help on all rules
