Ooops. Supposed to read Super Bowl.

OK Y'all know that I'm picking the stinkin' Patriots, not the 1776 version, but the Boston version of the last 18 years.

The team who runs for the most yardage and turns the ball over the least will win this game.

Since the beginning of the second half of the season:

Pats average RYPG 147
Rams average RYPG 152

Pats average DRYPG 100
Rams average DRYPG 123

Playoffs:

Pats 166 / 30
Ram 175 / 49

Pretty tight all around for the rushing stats.

Turnovers from Week 9 on:

Pats 7 gave up
Pats 13 gained

Rams 13 gave up
Rams 17 gained

Special teams goes to the Rams, not because the Patriots are not good but the Rams kickers are about as good as it gets.

Coaching and quarterbacking goes to the Pats.

///

You figure that all out. Thin margins.

///

So I'm a homer on my Pats.

Good luck guys. Have fun. Hope you're all partying. I'm the host as usual. If the Pats win noone wants to leave. If they lose they are out of here before the final score is posted.

Congrats to you and all who cashed. You're living in the right part of the country for sports, unless you're running a book.

Did you take the all Boston 3 teamer? Celts and Boston both won by 1 point.

Thanks, SAm. Sure am in the right part of the country at the right time. What you said is 100% true. The Patriots have buried many underfunded books around here. I've heard some shitty stories.

Never got the Celtics in. Party was here. Too much other shit going on. I did like them. And I watched as the clock ticked down trying to explain to my non betting brother in law what each posesion meant as they flirted with that -4 line.

Great day for Boston sports.

Hope you were on the Pats.
