For the first time in a while, I'm gonna consider the possibility of rain hampering my longshot predictions.
So that means Justify and Good Magic for 1 + 2. And I'm gonna make my life so much easier by just considering a few others. Quip, Diamond King, and Tenfold. And since I think a couple of those could even win or place, and an exacta or tri will pay nothing, lemme just go with a 5 horse supertri box.
It's 120 bets at whatever multiple you want. Good luck, I'm done early and will try to play Friday so I can have the weekend free.

Thursday, after sleeping: a super with even Justify on top (and Good Magic 2 or 3 ) isn't gonna pay anything. So how about Justify on top with my other 4 just to get my betting money back and the other 4 on top with Justify second, then other four/other four. Does that make sense, outlay-wise?

and for the mudders:
5,7/5,7/2,4,6,8/2,4,6,8

Just home from early betting. I ruled out the 5 horse box and spread out the money ...keying #7 in first and second place...Also a simple one of 5,7/5,7/1,4,6/1,4,6....and another mixed up one of 85 bets:
2,6,7/2,4,5,6,7/2,4,5,6,8/2,4,6,8

Not a real impressive field today as Justify stands out like a sore thumb.
I'm throwing good magic out as I think the horse is entered just to be entered.
I will play two longshots with Justify who ran in the derby and had troubled trips but yet progressed thru the lane.

Justify/Bravazo/Lone Sailor

$10 tri box 2-7-8
$10 Exacta Box  2-7-8

$120 invested

I feel sorry for Pimilico today as I think they have more scratches than they have horses running as the lousy weather took a toll on the track and turf courses.

Pimlico, Belmont, Monmouth, and Gulfstream all knocked off the turf due to rain. Did a lot of turf handicapping last night. Not happy. Two turf races at Woodbine is all I'm left with in my telly.

Good luck with the Preakness. Still trying to figure out how to make any money in this race. Can't see how the 1,2 from the Derby is gonna change. Maybe I'll just watch and root for you guys.

Good luck.

Don't know much about the ponies, but I like a little skin in the game on the big races. I'm following your lead Rosie with 2-7-8.
