Interested to hear everyone's thoughts. All good on paper, but things are never that easy.

Not gonna happen in Texas so won’t change anything for me

How is it taxed in Vegas?

Cause if states tax it to make it legal and the Vig goes up, most would keep on with what they got now

I'm curious to see if offshore books will allow u.s. betting, the ones that don't allow it I mean. Should be a no brainer for starters.

Also read an article that the first states to bring in sportsbooks are likely new jersey and Mississippi, and those states with casinos I imagine.

From USAToday  "Pennsylvania is seeking a $10 million licensing fee, along with a state tax of 34% on gaming revenue. By comparison, Nevada – the only state before Monday that had legalized, state-sanctioned betting – pays 6.75% to the state. All states must pay a federal excise tax, which equates to about another 5%.  "
"New Jersey is expected to tax gaming revenue between 8%-10%, and Mississippi, another state that could launch sports gambling in the coming week, will have a tax of 8%. "
