Almost I/O. TCU didn’t look good on D in the 1st half and Hill was terrible. It came together better in the 2nd half but too little too late!

Still a winning day! Mich St showed up to play!

I like following line movement in college football and the Navy and MSU games had that component too. No real indicators with line movement in today’s games so far. We’ll see. Good luck, man!

Looking at covers.com for consensus %'s, and today's games in order, A&M is the public pick at 60% and the line has moved from 3 to 3.5 for Wake. NC St/ASU is essentially a 50/50 and no line movement from 7. N'Western is a 62% fav and the line is starting to run. Opened at NW -7.5 (vegasinsider.com) and is now up to -9/-9.5. NM is a slight pub fav or Utah St and the line has stayed pretty quiet at 4, 4.5. The mildly interesting one is USC is a slight public fav at 52% but the line has adjusted to OSU -8 in most places (can still see 7.5), after opening at -6.5.

With the lines starting to run on N'Western and a little on OSU, I put them in a 2 team tease already.

N'Western -2 / Ohio St -.5

And I'm already on Louisville for tomorrow. Line was 6.5 and I bought to 6. It's up to 7 now and I'd expect that line to go higher by kickoff.

Ok, 2-1 yesterday making it 13-5 bowls. Let's hope we can keep it going ....

Starting off the day with Wake -3 (-120). Just felt better paying the juice for a FG instead of having the hook out there. Take a look at WF's rushing stats this year (4.5ypc) and the overall OL play and I like them to have some success controlling the ball against the A&M D, which is the strength of the Aggies. Sumlin is out and it's a unsettled team at A&M right now. Kirk made it sound like guys are on eggshells "trying out" for new coach Fisher. DL coach Kingsley Keke said the coaching dynamic has made for "kind of a weird feeling." Jeff Banks will coach today. John Wolford is a 4yr starter for WF with lots of experience. Safety Watts is probably out for A&M.

Wake -3 (-120)

I'm also taking Arizona St today +. I don't expect Chubb to play for NC St. Take this quote from a local Raleigh newspaper ... "No one from N.C State is saying if the senior defensive end, who is expected to be a top-10 pick in this spring’s NFL Draft, will play against Arizona State in Friday’s Sun Bowl. Chubb has been at practice but doing very little." If he was going to play, he'd be doing much more than "very little". ASU also playing a send off game for head coach Todd Graham. He will at least provide continuity at the coaching spot for this game. NC St is 1-7 ATS as a favorite. Also read that the Pac 12 has won 5 of the last 6 Sun Bowls, for whatever that's worth! ASU should have the crowd advantage too.

Arizona + 7.5 (-115)

Good luck today!

The Penn St game is a little interesting. Almost 75% of bets on PSU and the line has moved down to -2. Taking a good look at Washington.

Fitzy might have had his worst game ever. They should'a lost SU. Still gonna kill a ton of action including teasers.

That was a tough one to watch I/O. Brutal coaching. But that's the second team I backed that lost it's QB early in the game (FIU). Not good.

That being said, it was a brutal day for me. 0-4-1 on the day. Time to regroup and get back on track today.

13-9-1 after yesterday's blood bath.

Already booked L'Ville yesterday. Look at them over the last 3 games and they're like a totally different team. Jackson should be looking to remind everyone that he is a Heisman winner too. Total coaching upheaval at Miss St.

Louisville -6 (-115)

Going with Iowa St in game 2 today. Who has Memphis played? Exactly. ISU has played a tough schedule and actually beat Oklahoma, holding that offense to 31 points. Also heard on ESPN this morning that the ISU fans are flocking to Memphis, so maybe the crowd advantage won't be so big given the game is in Memphis!

Iowa St +4

Bad game for Jackson. He looked like a deer in headlights a few times. No touch, bad read on blitzes. Great athlete and runner though.
