I think it does. The methodology changes, but the general premise stays the same.

I dont know anymore on NFL /Nba , baseball thats a laugh and to tough for me to decide .

But i watch lines esp ...NCAA BB late games ....Chasing or not... I dont feel the books move lines just on action on those games ...They know how much they are down or up by the late game starts.

I feel they take a stand and draw action late ...I would if i had a linesmaker who i trusted .In essence someone who could gamble for the book .

It's the most over-rated handicapping factor that I can think of.

I'll go as far as to say that if a sportsbook or casino actually releases their numbers, they are hoping everyone will 'go the other way' and therefore balance their books.

If you are just going to 'fade the public' as a betting strategy you may as well have someone else make picks for you because that is basically what is happening.
