This is where I will describe how I use Winpicks, the methods, changes, new ideas, results, and maybe even a system or two. Mostly I hope to win and I hope to show how I win in hopes of helping others. In the past Winpick for NBA was by far where my best results were, but this year I am going all out with all 4 sports. Right now the bulk of my time is spent with MLB but in the next few weeks I hope to add much more here. Good Luck this season ! Jeff AKA ghostclown AKA user 197 AKA hellbringer507

I have not spent much time with the trend seeker yet, so I have no opinion. so far here is what I am planning on doing with CFB : computer # 1 = default test method set to last 500 dates computer # 2 = default test method set to last 200 dates computer # 3 = default test method set to last 10 dates computer # 4 = default test method set to season to date i use a mix of different dates in for balanced AVG rolling AVG and i also use season to date. I tune the 200 and 500 dates with check marks in both the ATS precent and ATS units checked and i have the big test dates on my two newest computers and i let them run all night at about 15 min. per formula, so one key here is to have less formulas on these computers, otherwise you will never get to the bottom of your list in one night, this is not as important in football, but in basketball where there are games every night you need to tune the whole list every night. i will use the best 5 foumulas in a concense on each computer and then any pick that comes up on all 4 computers will become a play. i have a system that i hope to use with this but i am still working out a few things with it. i hope this starts a good conversation about different ways to use winpicks, i am always open to new ideas and never convinced my way is best. more later Ghostclown

this is the last week that i go lite with college picks, starting next week i will keep a record of my picks and i will be betting real money at the suncoast. texas -29 iowa -13.5 byu +1 mississippi -20.5 miami ohio -14 baylor -16.5 -------------------- PRO cardinals -4 texans +2.5 i am using my season to date and last 20 games computers to get the picks and then i am confirming them with my last 200 dates and last 500 dates computers, i am using a 7 formula concenses on all 4 coputers and also using Platinum picks with the same sets of concensus sets. Football is fun and this will be an interesting test but it is the Winpicks NBA that gives me my spending cash... Good Luck Ghostclown

Okay... I know nothing about CFB, but I took the advice of folks in the forum, used the line shifter, and came up with a few picks. I'm looking for dogs, so I shifted the lines -7 to see which dogs would still cover. I came up with Wake Forest Miami Ohio New Mexico Nevada (They were a favorite that would still cover at -11) We'll see how it goes. GLTA

My college winpicks died in a blaze of shame last week. I'm gonna try again. This time I am going to target favorites of 21 points or more, and see if my formulas tell me they will cover if I shifted the line to 31 points or more.
