I put a withdrawal request in on December 8
and have still not been paid. I spoke to a
representative there about a week and a half
ago and was told that a check had been mailed. I'm still waiting. I know someone
else who got paid a lot more than the amount I requested so I'm still hopeful.

Sportsinteraction paid! Woo.. I can only assume it was because of Christmas the mail was slow coming around or something it was the mails fault because I just got my SIA check!

I know people could have good reasons to leave SIA with its recent problems expect they have proven it wasn't their fault and have done everything can to keep it a good sportsbook and they have done there job!

Way to go SIA!

Thumbs up.

dawger,

Thanks for the update. But you didn't say when you requested your payout. Please let me know how long it took. Thanks

KW,

Are you still waiting for your check?

Does SIA offer overnight mail service? There are times I might want that, and would even put it on my nickel... I didn't see anything about that on their website. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with that. I realize I could e-mail them on that one, but I'd like to hear it from someone on "this side" if possible...

Thanks

It took around 2 and a half weeks to get the check. I'm not sure of the exact dates.. I just withdrew another one today.. So we will see how long it takes again..

not sia, but sportbet took a loooong time to get me a FEDEX check....Holiday mail is screwing things up, as even fedex wouldn't deliver 6 of the last 10 days due to holiday service. SIA has always paid in the past, and since its regular mail, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Main problem is the regular mail only option, as far as I can tell. But having to pay for fedex delivery isn't cool either. Fast payment costs....so it depends on what you need the money for. If you need to be moving it and cashing in frequently, you need a different book, like gsc or tops....if not, it doesn't really matter how long it takes, except for peace of mind that your money is really arriving sometime. In all honesty, I have always been paid by the major books, so I am not too worried about the reutable ones (gsc, tops, bowmans, sia, sportsbook, sportbet, bigbook)...

dawger,

Did you ever get that other check? How long did it take? If anyone else would like to share some payout experiences, I'd appreciate it. I'm shopping for a 2nd offshore book...

Thanks.

I requested payout from SIA on 01-07-99 and received it via regular mail on 01-15-99. No problem at all...only nagging thing was they list date on check as 11-01-99 because they put month in the middle, but my bank cashed it. Some banks may make you get another check if that happened I guess.
